Whittier Street Health Center is established.

An outgrowth of the Well Baby Clinic, it is located located initially in a George Robert White Fund building at 20 Whittier Street. The center subsequently becomes affiliated with Boston City Hospital. It builds a new facility on Tremont Street in 2012.*
